Wires, Branches and Barbara Hepworth...

Last May I found this origional Barbara Hepworth signed print in a broken frame, hiding amongst tatt and shattered mirrors, in a charity shop...I bought it for £2, and recently I think I've probably been subconsciously inspired, as just before Christmas I had it properly framed and put in a proud position at home...my morning run has been catching snatches of Hepworth all over the place...as well as wires, balloons and buses...

  1. lovely, especially love the red ball in tree....looks very surreal....the 3rd last one really reminds me of my childhood home..and looks like its straight from the 70's....all those tv aerials on the roof ...everyone has digital now...and the aerials were hazardous and were taken down by corporation....are you photographing in a land that time forgot?

  2. I hope that you are well, I am sure that after the loss of your Father you are still feeling a big gap. I have been thinking of you.

Have you been painting recently? Any auditions coming up?

You had a lucky find with that picture, so satisfying when we find something we like at that kind of price too!

    Have a good weekend
    Take care
    Warm wishes
